Little Sprouts Nature Summer Camp is a gentle, play-based outdoor experience designed especially for curious 2–3 year olds. We gather from 9AM–12PM each morning at beautiful Lake Lagunitas, where little ones can explore, wonder, and grow at their own pace.
With a small group of just six campers, and a 1:3 adult/child ratio, each child receives warm, individualized attention in a calm and nurturing environment. Our mornings unfold slowly and intentionally, following the children’s interests and the natural rhythms of the forest and lake. We may search for snails and insects along the trail, collect pinecones and leaves, listen to birds, explore lakeside, share stories under the trees, or create simple nature-inspired art.
At this tender age, learning happens through sensory exploration and meaningful play. Campers build confidence climbing over logs, develop language through storytelling, and practice early social skills through guided play and gentle group experiences. There is no rush — just time to discover, connect, and delight in the outdoors.
Little Sprouts Nature Summer Camp offers a sweet first camp experience, nurturing independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of nature in a safe and supportive small-group setting.
