ADVENTURE SUMMER CAMPS
Summer is for getting outside, getting messy, and following your curiosity.
At Snails & Turkey Tails, children spend their days exploring the natural world through hands-on adventure and child-led play. We might search the shoreline for crabs, build tiny fairy homes in the forest, mix potions in the mud kitchen, climb, create with real tools, or simply follow an interesting trail to see where it leads.
There’s no packed schedule or endless stream of activities. Instead, children have the time and freedom to explore, take risks, make discoveries, and get wonderfully immersed in the outdoors.
WHAT HAPPENS AT CAMP?
Every day is different. Children have the freedom to follow their interests, try new things, and see where the day takes them.
EXPLORE
Hike trails, investigate the shoreline, search for bugs, and discover what’s living around us.
BUILD & CREATE
Use real tools, natural materials, and plenty of imagination to make, build, and experiment.
MUD KITCHEN
Mix, pour, dig, create, and make wonderfully messy concoctions.
CLIMB & MOVE
Climb, balance, swing, scramble, and challenge yourself.
BEACH & SHORELINE
Search for crabs, explore tide pools, collect treasures, and investigate the water’s edge.
COZY CAMP SPACES
Rest in the hammock, read in the tent, observe the world around you, or simply take a break.
CAMP DETAILS
Join us for week-long sessions, Monday through Friday, from June through August. Families are welcome to enroll in multiple weeks, with each week offering new experiences, seasonal discoveries, and fresh adventures.

OUR LOCATIONS
LAKE LAGUNITAS
Explore redwood forests, winding trails, and the lake. Climb, build, investigate, create, and discover what lives among the trees.
CHINA CAMP
Spend the day along the shoreline searching for crabs, exploring tide pools, collecting treasures, and getting wonderfully muddy.

Our camps are led by experienced Early Childhood Educators and supported by a carefully selected camp team. With a maximum of 8 campers, our small groups allow educators to build genuine relationships with each child and stay closely connected throughout the day.
We believe children are capable, curious, and ready for meaningful adventures. Our role is to create a safe, supportive environment where they can try new things, take appropriate risks, solve problems, get messy, and discover the world around them.
