Friday Nature Play is a relaxed outdoor morning for young children and their grown-ups, with open-ended invitations to create, explore, connect, and simply enjoy being outside together.
Each Friday, you'll find a cozy collection of familiar favorites: handmade natural playdough, a hammock, a cozy tent, a mud kitchen, and plenty of room for little ones to follow their own ideas.

Come slow down, get messy, and let the children play.
Friday Nature Play is a relaxed outdoor gathering for young children and their grown-ups. There is no lesson to follow and no schedule to keep. Instead, we create a beautiful, welcoming space where children can explore, create, move, imagine, and connect at their own pace.
Each Friday, we set up a handful of simple, open-ended invitations for play: handmade natural playdough (made by yours truly!), a cozy tent, a hammock, and a mud kitchen, with room for children to follow their own ideas.

Our playdough table is a special part of Friday Nature Play. Children can squish, roll, cut, mix, sculpt, and experiment with handmade playdough in colors inspired by the natural world.
Love the playdough? Take some home! Small-batch, handmade playdough will be available to purchase each Friday.
The hammock and tent offer spaces for movement, imagination, quiet moments, and cozy connection, while the mud kitchen invites children to dig, mix, pour, scoop, and make their own creations.
We believe children don't need a prescribed activity to have a meaningful experience. They need time, beautiful materials, freedom, and a little space to follow their curiosity.
A little community swap.
Growing children come with a lot of stuff!
Bring along gently loved children's clothing, toys, or books that your family has outgrown and swap them with other families. It's a simple way to pass things along, find something new-to-you, and build community while the children play.
Nothing fancy. No buying or selling. Just families sharing what they no longer need.
Bring a snack & stay awhile.
Snacks are welcome! Bring something for your child and settle in for a relaxed morning outdoors.
Friday Nature Play is as much about connection as it is about play. Children get time to explore alongside other young children, while grown-ups have a chance to chat, connect, and enjoy a slower morning together.
There is no expectation to participate in everything. Come for the whole morning or head out when your little one is ready.

We believe in messy hands, big imaginations, muddy kitchens, cozy tents, wobbly balancing, handmade creations, shared snacks, and the freedom to simply play.
