NATURE AFTERNOONS
AT CHINA CAMP
Nature Explorers is a dynamic outdoor adventure class that weaves together the joy of play, the power of emotional growth, and the grounding presence of mindfulness—all set in the ever-changing, inspiring landscape of the natural world.
Each week, explorers set off on new adventures—tracking animal footprints, building woodland shelters, and discovering the tiny ecosystems hidden in plain sight. Along the way, we introduce supported risk-taking, such as climbing low trees, balancing on logs, and experimenting with nature tools, all with close, nurturing guidance from experienced educators.

Through cooperative games, stories, and reflection activities, children build empathy, resilience, and confidence. Our facilitators model emotional awareness and conflict resolution, creating a space where kids feel safe expressing themselves, taking initiative, and learning how to work together.

Each class includes moments of quiet reflection—whether it’s deep-breathing in the forest, listening to the sounds of the bay, or journaling in the meadow. These simple practices help children develop self-regulation, presence, and an appreciation for stillness.

Nature Explorers is more than an outdoor class—it’s a space where imagination meets independence and friendships grow under open skies. Every session leaves room for spontaneity, curiosity, and the deep sense of peace that only nature can bring.
